The Zoo

On Monday, we went to the zoo with my mom. It was perfect weather and the kids had a great time!



These lemurs were so cute. The dad kept trying to take the baby away from the mom, and whenever he did, she would hit him. It was really funny to watch. I guess even lemurs have some family drama!


How tall are you?



I may hate house cats (sorry Lea and Dottie!), but I love big cats...leopards, tigers, lions. Black panthers are my favorite, but he was hiding, so I couldn't get a picture.

Sophie had fun with this lizard. Every time she put her hand on the glass, he would play with her. He was one of the cute reptiles. Unlike all the snakes...

Ladies' Retreat

This last weekend, my mom and I went on a Ladies' Retreat to Camp Tejas. It was so much fun!


The building where we stayed called the "Four Seasons".

Our room was the "May" room. It didn't even feel like camp because the rooms were so cozy!


We enjoyed spending alone time together.


We both faced our fears and went off the 50' zip line!


Once we reached the end, we relaxed, realizing that the harness would hold us.


I climbed the 50' rock wall...all the way to the top!


It was very hard. My arms and legs were shaking at the end.
